The Relay produced many famous athletes including Lucie Laroche, Philippe Laroche, Yves Laroche and Melanie Turgeon. The quality of the resort enabled it to host many competitions of national or international level, often attracting such quality athletes as Jean-Luc Brassard. For example, in February 2000, the World Juniors were held there including the presentation of the Nations Cup which attracted many spectators and press for the resort.
Le Relais has 29 tracks over 173 acres. There are some beginner slopes, but this resort is geared more toward the intermediate to advanced level skier. There are 7 lifts to serve you and all of the slopes are lit for night skiing. In fact, Le Relais has the largest number of lit tracks in the region of Quebec. Tracks are available for freestyle skiing and snowboarding. The snow parks are developed to appeal to any user regardless of ability and features include many rails, boxes, jumps, quarter pipe and a wallride. You’ll find the Le Relais is a resort that really appreciates winter and they provide great service to the other winter lovers who come to enjoy the facilities.
