Located on the river, south of Quebec you’ll find Mont Orignal. With a summit of 612 meters and a slope of 300m, you will be well served by the 23 tracks. The challenge is on at Mont Orignal with more than half of the runs being experienced or expert level. Certainly there are some slopes available at the beginner or intermediate level, but this is a resort that aims to challenge. Night skiing is available on 11 runs and there is snowmaking across the entire resort. Mont Orignal boasts a fantastic snow park called Moose park which includes a halfpipe. There are 3 slides for tubing with more than 200 tubes and a rope tow. As well, Mont Orignal has 5 paths available from 3-10.6 km for cross country skiing and the trails run along the river and maple and conifer forests. As well as the usual amenities such as rental shop and ski and snowboard school, Mont Orignal has 2 meeting rooms are available. “The Parallel” can accommodate up to 150 people and the “Claude Leclerc Room” can accommodate up to 275 people. So Mont Orignal is a great resort for corporate functions or weddings. The atmosphere is warm and the service is great.
