Mont Saint-Sauveur is a friendly and fun resort which enjoys an abundant snowfall and powerful snowmaking equipment. Such a supreme partnership gives it one of the longest ski seasons in Eastern Canada. Skiing and snowboarding has been known to start in October or November and last well into May. Mont Saint-Sauveur has 38 trails across 641 acres. There are slopes to cater to all abilities, all serviced by 8 lifts including 5 quads, 1 triple, 1 double and a magic carpet. Night riding is available on 30 well-lit runs until 11:00 p.m. This makes it a popular resort for kids to gather to ride.
Mont Saint-Sauveur sits side by side in partnership with Mont Avila. Whereas Mont Saint-Sauveur is known for its steeper pitches, Mont Avila is known as the freestyle Mecca of Quebec. Sauveur has no terrain park, but with your ticket to Sauveur, you can take advantage of the neighbouring Mont Avila and their fantastic terrain parks. Avila offers two parks on neighbouring runs. The first is a full-scale park complete with a superpipe and lift of its own, access to this park is restricted. The second park is a little smaller, but features intermediate level rails, boxes and jumps. Mont Saint-Sauveur also has all of the amenities you would expect such as rentals, ski shop and bar/restaurant. We understand they’ve also undergone a major renovation to the chalet and have a new outdoor winter patio. Sounds cool!
