Sunshine Village is great for all skill levels. It has a modest balance of easy/intermediate and some of the best terrain for expert skiers, including the Wild West, Delirium Dive, and the South Side Chutes. Snow conditions are best form early January to mid April, with consistent dumps of champagne powder over 30cm, but excellent skiing is common during other months of the season. There is plenty of access to out of bound skiing on crown land (bring avalanche gear) which draws touring skiers in with pristine landscape and untouched powder. The resort has a ski in/out hotel located at the village and a fair selection of good on hill bars and restaurants, and there are many options to get to the closely located town of Banff, where a more extravagant nightlife and shopping scene are available.
