Located on the western shore of Lake Memphremagog in Quebec’s Eastern Townships you’ll find the growing resort of Owl’s Head. Choose between 45 trails spread over 120 acres of skiable terrain. Owl’s Head has a new “Super-Bois” glade covering 15-20 acres and a fabulous snow park with all the elements you want to see. The trails are serviced by 9 lifts and there is a great snow sports school with lessons for all ages and skill levels. You’ll also find a daycare, repair shop, restaurants, bars and hotel condos – everything to cater to the skier or snowboarder who is visiting and wants to keep it easy.
Incidentally, we’ve learned that the name Owl’s Head originated from an Indian tribe who inhabited the area. After the greatest chief of the “Abenaki” people died, they commemorated his existence by naming their local mountain “Owl’s Head”. When the mountain was later developed into a recreational use are, the owners decided to continue to use the name to pay tribute to the area’s history. Owl’s Head continues to grow and develop and if you decide to head up and check out this resort, we’d love it if you would come back to our site and fill out a review – give us your take on the resort. Much appreciated!
