With 3 distinct peaks all just under 600 feet, 23 runs (12 lit runs) and only a 15 minute drive from Ottawa, Camp Fortune lends you a great day or night of skiing or snowboarding. The 3 peaks help to increase the amount of terrain there is to ride. The first peak, called the Skyline has an elevation of 590 feet with 1 intermediate run, 3 difficult runs and 2 extremely difficult runs serviced by a quad lift. The second peak, called the Valley has an elevation of 360 feet with 2 Quads, 1 triple, 1 surface lift and a magic carpet servicing 5 easy, 4 intermediate and 1 difficult run. The third peak, called the Meech has an elevation of 512 feet with 2 intermediate runs, one of which is 1.6 km long, serviced by a quad lift.
Camp Fortune has a great terrain park geared for all abilities, with man-made snow and fantastic grooming. You’ll find a great selection of jumps, rails, boxes and a wall. They have lessons, ski and snowboard rental shop and 2 lodges with all the amenities. All in all, it’s a pretty interesting spot to hit.
