Silver Summit is perhaps the largest ski hill outside of the Rockies. It is a favourite destination for many because of the great elevation and more than 300 cm of snow. In business and family owned for more than 40 years Silver Summit is your large resort, away from all of the National Parks. Apart from the 12 tracks of skiing and snowboarding, guests can enjoy cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on some great tracks that link up in Edson and with Fox Creek. There is a very reasonably priced lodge with hostel style rooms should you wish to stay on-site. Silver Summit also offers lessons, rentals and a great cafeteria.
