To ski fabulous snow in the Okanagan Valley, look no further than Big White, where “the snow” is even their motto. With an average of 750 cm of that great Okanagan champagne powder, spectacular scenery and a mild average temperature of -5°C (23°F) you’ll love hitting these 2500 acres of terrain. There are about 140 runs with great selection for everyone. Experts will find numerous challenging and long black diamond runs off of the Gem Lake Express, there are lots of glades and everyone will find variety throughout, which makes it easy for families and groups with skiers/riders of different levels to stay together. Telus has sponsored the terrain park and it’s one of the best progressive parks because all of the features are marked to let everyone try things out at their own pace. Big White is also known for its spectacular “snowghosts” which are the absolutely snow drenched trees you’ll see as you shoot down these spectacular trails. Big White is Canada’s largest totally ski-in-ski-out resort village and they have all of the amenities you’ll need both for your skiing/snowboarding experience and for apres ski.
