Mount Seymour has been around for more than 70 years and is a great resort to hit. It’s only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver on the North Shore in Mount Seymour Provincial Park. You’ll love the spectacular views of Vancouver, the Georgia Straight, Mt. Baker, Washington State and Vancouver Island. With an annual average of 1000 cm of snow, Mount Seymour offers up 39 runs, majority of which are intermediate and beginner level. However, advance skiers will love the natural contours that provide some great challenging terrain with lots of gullies and tree runs. There are 3 progressive terrain parks that are amongst the most recognized of the area, but you might find that the real beauty of Seymour is the natural terrain to freeride.
There have been a number of well-known pros to grown up riding Seymour including Kevin Sansalone and Roberta Rodger and if they still love it, you know Seymour must be doing something right.
