Your first impression of Silver Star Mountain Resort will be of brightly coloured Victorian architecture and storefronts with a boarded sidewalk in a faux mining village, but don’t stop there! Silver Star has an annual snow fall of 700 cm of that great Okanagan champagne powder, spread over undulating terrain, crazy hardcore chutes and some of the best tree-skiing in North America. Silver Star has 115 runs that are basically divided into 2 zones. The area directly above and below the village features the gladed skiing mecca of Silver Woods and the longer gentler runs, generally appealing more to green and blue level skiers and riders. If you are an advanced or expert level, you’ll want to head to the back side where you’ll find Putnam Creek and countless black and double-black runs. Extreme skiers will find their thrills at the Spirit Bowl, a steep double-black run that drops through a stand of spindly, fire-ravaged pines.
Telus has sponsored the terrain park & rail garden and we think you’ll love the 16 acres of table tops, step up jumps and spines. The elements are progressive and skiers and snowboarders alike will love the mix. Features of the park include minis, flats, rainbows, kinks, wide rails, and boxes.

Owned by the same group as Big White. Great hill with super snow conditions. If you love powder, this place should be on your list.
