At almost 40$ to ride a T bar up a 12 min lift. It it quite a workout on the snowboard. When it snows conditions are awesome. Weekends come around you want to be there early to beat the long lineup in the am. Silver T lift is great. Trails are awesome. The face is fast! Lots of exploring on the hill, the hill somthing for everyone! Just wish the silver lift is open during the week. Only downfall to this hill is the T bar lift, there are few other hills only 1hr and a half away that have chairlifts. Must be nice! Come on Troll its time to change! Change the name too… It sounds like a childish name.

Hi Krzys, Troll Mountain’s tentative open date is December 7, but you’ll have to check directly with them to be sure. Please be sure to come back and leave a review of your experience! Thanks!

The hill is a great place to play. The food is reasonable and cheap. The coffee bar has whatever you want. There is a giant playpen with toys for small kids and the Troll “family” all looks out for the little ones. The Lightning Creek ski club has great programs for kids. The Silver T ungroomed runs are world class. The terrain park keeps the teenagers happy. The t-bar moves faster than most chair lifts, particularly compared to those rickety old ones at the “nearby” resorts and keep you out of the wind and sheltered on the way up. The lineups are short and sometimes nonexistent. The ski shop and school is a great asset. The affordable school program introduces youngsters to a great way to enjoy winter, have fun and get exercise. The friendly family and staff are always trying to meet everyone’s needs and support or sponsor great events like Telefest where everyone gets to meet everyone else and become part of the “family”. The lovely log buildings with their sod roofs and whimsical decorations are wonderful. Can’t say enough positive things about this jewel in our region.
