Only 45 minutes from Toronto, Hockley Valley welcomes you to a full-service year round resort sitting on 300 acres of Ontario’s most beautiful countryside. Hockley Valley Resort is certainly close enough that Torontonians can head up just to ski just for the day, but if you are planning to stay the weekend, Hockley has some great stay and ski packages that are sure to appeal. Hockley Valley Resort offers skiers 3 surface lifts and 2 quads. There are 14 trails for downhill skiing and snowboarding, an expanded terrain park, beginner terrain and a half pipe. Cross-country skiers will enjoy the many trails and beautiful scenery at Hockley Valley. For downhill skiers, ski and snowboard lessons are available and given the great reputation of their program, many schools take advantage of the facility. With 30 new lights available, the entire mountain is lit for night skiing! Orangeville is lucky enough to get a lot of snow naturally, but if needed Hockley has expanded their snow making system and can keep the season going through March Break.
Should you decide to stay, there are 100 guest rooms and the resort is available all four seasons. Guests can take advantage of an 18 hole Championship Golf course, European Spa, Skiing and award-winning Dining. They offer great packages and wonderful apres ski. While the downhill and cross-country skiing are definite attractions, there is also snowshoeing, a skating rink, a bar and lounge, a dining room and restaurant, a fitness club, hot tub, indoor pool (outdoor pool weather permitting), spa, golf, hiking and tennis.
