If you’ve ever wondered what it would really be like heli-skiing, this is a great video that should give you a pretty good flavour of getting up the mountain.
The venue is Whistler and the date is August 2008.

A shout out to Ski Magazine, as they got me to thinking last week that we should add some European ski resort listings to our Ski-Resorts.ca resort guide. This after the great article by Susan reifer that profiled the 5 must-have ski destinations for a European trip.
We added two French resorts – Val D’Isere and Chamonix, two from Switzerland – Zermatt and St. Moritz as well as Austria’s St. Anton.
Hopefully you will find these listings useful next time you are planning a trip to finally ski the Alps. Enjoy!
