Operating for more than 40 years, Mt. Baldy family boasts one of the highest base elevations in B.C. at 5,665 feet. They experience an average of more than 610 cm of snow. There are 23 runs spread over 225 acres of trails and 240 acres of glades and trees. Skiers and riders can ski the southeast face of Mt. Baldy and the west face of Mt. McKinney as the resort operates over both mountain faces. Mt. Baldy Family boasts a fantastic rider-designed terrain park complete with rails, boxes, jumps, hips, jibs and other great features. The dynamic here is very relaxed and in addition to skiing or snowboarding, you can snowshoe, take in the 20+ km of groomed cross-country trails and toboggan. Lessons and rentals are available and as major expansion is going on, there are some choice accommodations and real estate available.
Part of the beauty of Mt. Baldy is that so far, it is virtually undiscovered. You’ll find untracked powder and superlative skiing in a place where the pace is slow and relaxed.
